Learning Summit

Last week Capital for Children hosted an afternoon of learning for our nonprofit partners. The sessions focused on some common challenges of leading a nonprofit, and the goal was to provide a space for the leaders to connect, get to know each other, and share ideas. Everyone had a chance to socialize afterwards, and it was great that some Capital for Children members were able to join. Thanks to Hilary Joel for facilitating the session and to these terrific leaders for taking the time out of their busy schedules for this peer learning opportunity: Tony Francavilla, DC Scores; Nicole Hanrahan, LAYC Career Academy, Mecha Inman, CollegeTracks; Essence Newhoff, Sitar Arts Center; and Sherrod Williams, New Futures.
