Texas Hold’Em Tournament

Capital for Children hosted its 7th annual fundraiser, at the Ritz Carlton, Georgetown on November 20th, 2014.  The evening was an outstanding success and raised over $65,000 for our investment organizations!

It was a tight contest, but Lee Metz ultimately held on to emerge as the first place victor.  Matt Owens, from Arnold & Porter, took second place while Matthew Wheelock, Executive Directive of one of our nonprofits, Live It Learn It, won third prize.  Keith Moellering of PNC, a Texas Hold'Em Sponsor, rounded out the prize winners in fourth place.  Congratulations to all the winners!

Attendees included members of the private equity and lending community as well as service providers to the industry.  All proceeds from the event will go directly to Capital for Children’s philanthropic activities in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Thank you to ACG and all of our sponsors for their support, we could not have been so successful without it!

Thank you also to Tell Chronicles for the beautiful photography.  For many more pictures from the event, check out our Facebook page here.
